Deadwood
The Stockholm based brand Deadwood was founded in 2012 by Carl Ollson and Felix von Bahder with one goal in mind – to be a force for good in the fashion industry. They have sustainability at the core of its business through upcycling and the use of waste materials.
Deadwood has partnered with Recovo in its "Uplifted" collection for Spring/Summer SS23 season. The collection featured different pieces made out of deadstock fabrics that otherwise would have gone to waste. These pieces were showcased in the Copenhagen Fashion Week, the "Fashion Week of reference in terms of sustainability". By repurposing these fabrics, Deadwood has saved very precious natural resources used for new fabric production.
