What is denim fabric and what are the benefits of buying it?

Denim is a type of fabric made primarily from cotton, although it is also made from linen and hemp. The use of denim in manufacturing dates back to the early 19th century when the fabric originally made from linen fabrics was produced in France. Soon after, the first denim designs appeared in San Francisco after the gold rush and it quickly became a popular choice for farm workers looking for durable and sturdy clothing. Today, denim fabric (also called denim) is famous for its use in making jeans, but it also has other uses, such as in jackets. Actually, denim fabric is white, but it is dyed blue to give it the look we all know. Apart from blue, we can find this fabric in an endless number of colors, so it presents a great versatility when it comes to combine it with other garments. In addition, we can find them in different types, such as skinny, flared, high or low waist, boyfriend, straight, etc., making them an iconic piece that can not miss in any capsule closet.

In addition, the dyes used to dye denim fabrics contain toxic chemicals that factories pour into the water of the rivers and lakes around them, so producing this type of fabric not only consumes natural resources, but also pollutes them. Therefore, the ideal is to reuse existing fabrics to avoid making new ones, and even more important in cotton fabrics. - Do you have a minimum order quantity?

Recovo fabrics are sourced from different suppliers, and each supplier sets their own minimums. There is a category called "MOQ under 5m" in the menu (under Shop) where you can see all the fabrics that can be purchased with MOQ minimums. You can also take a look at the description on each product page, where you can see the minimum purchase. We also have a section "Above 100 m stock" for those collections that need a higher volume of fabric.

- Where do you ship your denim fabrics to?

Recovo's denim fabrics and other fabrics are currently only shipped to EU countries.

- How long will it take to receive my order of denim fabrics?

We ship within 5-7 days. Shipping takes between 5-7 days for domestic shipments and 7-15 days for shipments to the rest of the EU.
